I don’t know what’s going on with this app. I’ll open it thinking maybe it’ll work this time, and then nope, same problem again. Sometimes it freezes, sometimes it won’t load at all, and then I just give up and do something else. I wanted to like it, but it’s just been really frustrating.

My flight from Rome to London got cancelled the night before, which was really not what I needed and had me stressing about hotels, work, getting to the airport, and whether I’d be stuck waiting around forever, but they rebooked me onto a flight the next morning, the app updated quickly, and even though the airport staff seemed a bit rushed they still answered my questions and helped me sort out my bag. I did lose half a day, so I can’t say it was perfect, but compared with other cancellations I’ve dealt with, this one was handled okay. The food refund took a while to come through, but it did arrive in the end. 4 stars from me.

To be fair, the flight itself was fine and got me where I needed to go without any major issues. But the in-flight service was disappointing. The crew took quite a while to respond and at times seemed a bit annoyed when asked for things. The food was cold by the time it was served, and drinks came much later than expected. I expected a better experience from ITA.

The seats on my ITA Airways flight were awful. I’m not even tall, and my knees were still jammed into the seat in front of me the whole time. The cushion felt flat and hard, and the backrest didn’t really give any support at all. After about two hours, my lower back was hurting so much. Yeah, I’d avoid flying with them again if I can.

My luggage never showed up after my ITA Airways flight. Frustrating. I reported it right away, filled out the forms, and tried to stay patient at first.

I mostly use ita-airways.com for the Volare program, and overall it does what I need. My points do show up, but every now and then they take longer than I expected, which can be a little frustrating. The rules also aren’t always explained very clearly, especially when you’re trying to figure out rewards. The website usually works fine, but finding the right reward info feels more annoying than it should be. It’s not a bad experience, just one of those preventable hassles that could be improved with clearer layout and better explanations

I wouldn’t go back. The pasta was dry, the juice was warm, and the whole meal just felt off. I’ve had better food at places that are way less... yeah, never again.
